With a plan to hero the premium wines and regions of New Zealand there was no question that Foster Group initial focus would be sauvignon blanc from New Zealand's premier region, Marlborough. Secret Stone wine has been passionately created to reflect the distinctive style for which Marlborough wine region has become well regarded throughout the world.
Secret Stone Chardonnay Medium yellow in colour with green hues, this wine had a toasty and almost charry oak character on the nose, with buttery aromas. Tropical fruits, peach, citrus and pineapple flavours sat on a mineral palate. Good structure, acid and a nice finish. Enjoy this wine with savoury dishes or dishes with creamy sauces. |
Secret Stone Pinot Gris A gorgeous Marlborough pinot gris. Light straw in colour with waterlike hue. This fruity wine had lifted aromas of ripe pears, spice and tropical fruits on the nose. These lovely characters continued to the palate with zippy acid and some light citrus flavour. It is balanced, with a well-rounded finish. Enjoy this wine with tomato based seafood dished. |
Secret Stone Pinot Noir Vibrant brick ruby red in colour, this light to medium bodied Pinot showed gorgeous cherries and fresh strawberries aromas on the nose. The savoury character carried over to the palate, with blackberry and dark cherry flavours and lingering spicy oak tannins on the finish. Enjoy this charming pinot with Peking Duck. |
Secret Stone Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc Pale straw in colour with green tints, this voluptuous Marlborough savvy had lifted floral, herbaceous, and fruity aromas of lychee, passionfruit, pineapple and gooseberry.
