In 1973, the first estate grown and bottled range of wines released under the Taylors name, and the Taylors Estate Cabernet Sauvignon burst out of the starting blocks, winning gold medals at every national wine show. This proved to be a good omen - a reputation was forged then and continues today with the wine winning medals at national and international shows every year since. The range now includes Chardonnay, Merlot, Semillon, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc and most recently, a Pinot Gris.
