Wolf Blass Red Label was born from many trips taken by Wolf Blass founder, Wolf Blass AM, to Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand where he understood the importance and value of the "red" colour in these countries.

Wolf's first wine, from the 1974 vintage was a classic blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon and was immediately popular with wine drinkers around the world who fell in love with its fruit driven characters and soft, smooth finish. The success of this wine has seen the range extended over the years to eight varietals sourced from premium South Eastern Australian vineyards.

The Wolf Blass Red Label Chardonnay Pinot Noir is a rich, full-bodied sparkling wine with a refreshing finish. The wine is soft straw in colour with a subtle hint of green. Creamy stone fruit and citrus flavours continue on the full-bodied palate supported by a crisp acidity.

Pale straw in colour. A lifted nose of citrus and dry grass notes are boosted with more powerful tropical fruit. A light to medium bodied white with crisp fruit flavours and a crisp citrus finish.

Vibrant with a subtle hint of green. The scent of tropical melon and stone fruits combine with citrus on the nose. Chardonnay and Semillon are present together on the palate with delightfully fruit driven flavours of melon and citrus. There is an extra layer with a hint of oak and lees complexity.

Light straw colour with a hint of pale green in the glass. Summery tropical fruit aromas of mango, melon and peach drift on the nose. Lively varietal fruit characters abound on the palate. These fruity flavours are balanced by the clean acidity and good length of flavour.

Pale straw with a green hue. The nose shows fresh citrus and melon with subtle, integrated spicy oak. Soft and approachable with generous peach and grapefruit character on the palate, the fruit is supported with finely integrated French oak, finishing clean with generous length.

Serve with Grilled trout with Roma tomato, bocconcini and basil salad with balsamic dressing.

Red with purple hues. Lifted berry fruits with hints of mint and chocolate and gentle oak. Rich red fruits with underlying blackcurrant and plum supported by finely textured tannins. A medium bodied wine, soft and fleshy with a long finish.

Serve with barbeque meats like pork and fennel sausages, lamb chops, beef and honey sausages or marinated steak.

A deep red core with a crimson hue. The nose shows fresh, varietal, leafy characters, aromas of plums and berries with subtle and integrated oak flavours. This is a medium to full bodied wine that offers a sweet, middle palate, finishing with fine, smooth, chalky Cabernet tannins.

Bright red with purple hues. Aromas of boiled sweets and spice greet the nose. These aromas lead to a medium bodied palate displaying notes of fresh plum and red berry. The finish is soft with rounded velvety tannins.

The wine was fermented to around 6.5 baume. Brandy spirit was added to the sweet wine and fermentation stopped. The wine received lengthy maturation in large, old oak barrels. This process does not give the wine oak characters but gives the wine mellowness and classic rancio characters that are the hallmark of great fortified wines.

Serve with aged blue and cheddar cheeses with dried fruits, coffee, Christmas pudding or chocolates.
