In 1953, T.W. Samuels, Sr.. bought an abandoned Victorian distillery, (now fully restored and a National Historic Landmark) in picturesque Happy Hollow, Ky., and set to work on making his dream of crafting a handmade bourbon a reality. The distillery has been around since the mid 1800s and is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest continually operating bourbon distillery in the world.
